Science Outdoors is a free summer program that focuses on learning in a natural environment. The program provides students with hands-on activities, exploration, and scientific inquiry in an outdoor setting. We aim to introduce incoming middle schoolers and freshmen to various STEM subjects thorough various introductory classes.
Your Teachers:
General Topics: Introductory Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Earth Science (several ideas in each topic will be explained deeply, with a high emphasis on intuition and also logic)
Format: This program will be held on-location. Ten students will be accepted. During lessons, teachers will give talks and students will be exposed to an interactive and fun experience. If you have previously participated, we recommend attending Summer Science Seminars!
Requirements: Although we believe anyone can learn something at our programs, we are human and thus cannot give all who apply adequate attention. As such, we choose around 10 students each running. Prequisites include
