This page is from Season 2 (2022), preserved for history.

The Summer 2022 sessions have ended! Thanks for an even better run!

As always, we'd like to thank everyone for joining the sessions. The recordings for the classes will be posted on YouTube shortly, and we will be donating the funds to the World Health Organization in their fight against COVID this year.

This summer, we tried some new things, and while the experiments didn't always work out, we tried our best, and we hope you learned a thing or two about science!

As a final bit of news, we have a surprise this next summer... Stay posted for updates, and we will see you sooner than you think!

-The 3S Team

Once, again thanks to the Lexington Community Center for letting us use their tent as a lecture hall!

Welcome to Summer Science Seminars 3S!

WHO: We are a group of qualified and dedicated science enthusiasts who are eager to share our knowledge with others.

WHAT: We aim to cover a broad range of science topics and help you enjoy science, enhance your understanding, and prepare you for science-based competitions such as Science Bowl and Science Olympiad, and more.

WHERE: In-person demonstrations and team activities at the Lexington Community Center, all courses over Zoom

WHEN: Classes run from July 11 - August 6, specific times subject to change on a class-by-class basis, see Courses page

WHY: We believe the universe is to be enjoyed and understood, from the largest galactic superclusters to the smallest units of theoretical quantum foam. The ideas, processes, and thinking methods you learn will help you in life, no matter in science or not. We want to foster this in all students and help them discover the joys of learning and figuring stuff out. Every problem solved is a step and a challenge conquered.

We can't wait to show you everything!
